Source credibility support for classrooms

SOURCESCOUT

Teach media literacy in real time

SourceScout is a tool that evaluates sources as students encounter them online.

Students run into misinformation every day, but teaching source evaluation takes time teachers do not always have. SourceScout gives instant credibility feedback directly within the browsing experience.

  • Uses the CRAAP method to analyze credibility
  • Displays a simple 0–10 score with a color indicator
  • Reinforces critical thinking through real-world use

It fits into normal browsing behavior, giving feedback in the moment instead of asking teachers to add another full lesson to the day.

★★★★★

Very helpful tool for students to evaluate the sources they discover during their research. The CRAAP test functionality is particularly helpful for high school and college aged students. Excited to see what features the SourceScout team continues to add!
